Cosmopack International Business Forum & Exhibition has come to the end on May 12, at the Spring Studios in Manhattan, New York. The event, organized by Cosmoprof, promoted the excellence of the Italian beauty industry on the East Coast: contract manufacturing, packaging and industrial technology for the beauty industry.

The event has been supported by MISE – Italian Ministry of the Economic Development – and  ITA – Italian Trade Agency, which also promote Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna in international key markets for 2016 and 2017. Cosmopack International Business Forum & Exhibition has been organized in collaboration with Cosmetica Italia and Polo Tecnologico della Cosmesi.  As in the past editions, the event took advantage from the collaboration with ICMAD (Independent Cosmetics Manufacturers and Distributors) and CEW  (Cosmetics Executive Women).
Selected Italian companies of the beauty industry, recognized as international leaders for the high quality and creativity of their products, met more than 150 buyers coming from USA, Canada, Mexico, Chile, Brazil, Guatemala and Peru, in order to improve their business.

cpny Great interest for the seminars scheduled during Cosmopack International Business Forum & Exhibition. The trends of the future have been the protagonists of “I am a Beauty Guru!”, with the latest issues presented by the most important international trend agencies: Centdegrés, Beautystreams and ESTABLISHED New York.

Cosmopack New York Forum analyzed trends, innovations, challenges and opportunities coming from the supply chain, with the contribute of experts of the sector, journalists, trend agencies, opinion leaders and influencers of the US beauty industry.

cpny Cosmopack International Business Forum & Exhibition puts the spotlights on the strong relationship between beauty industry and fashion world, thanks to the first edition of The Make Up Room, with the participation of important make-up artists, fashion reporters and art directors showing on stage how the trends suggested by fashion can influence the industry.  


The Make Up Room, in collaboration with FTL MODA – New York Fashion Week, saw the participation of  Suzanna Hallili and Victor Noble, make-up artists; Elio Nogueira, reporter for famous magazines such as Vogue, L’Officiel, Harper’s Bazaar; hair stylist Matt Fugate, and Pablo Patané, art director of FTL MODA. The protagonists of these make-up workshops have been the top models Yun Gao and Stacey Farnet.

cpny The innovation which characterize the supply chain has been presented in the Innovation Circle, an exhibition area dedicated to the new projects of the exhibiting companies, which have been already awarded in Bologna during the contest The Cosmopack Wall – the avant garde edition. An additional way for Cosmopack to show the great attention paid on innovation and research as the main elements leading to the development of the beauty supply chain.

Visionnaire 0.2, special exhibition organized in collaboration with Chromavis, involved the attendees in a gallery made up of objects, words, colors and images, which gave strong indications on the beauty industry of the future.
